All other collection of information is done for the express purpose of delivering privacy and protection services to our subscribers. Subscriber’s personal information is collected solely for purposes of providing the services requested, and is collected only via a secure channel and a subscriber's Personal Privacy Web page, accessible through a subscriber's chosen password.

Agents
We use a credit card processing company to bill you for services. When making a purchase, you will be brought to a 3rd party service provider website to enter financial and personal information to conduct the transaction. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
|

Requesting Information About Our Services
In order to request more information about our services, a user must first complete a registration form, in which they are required to provide contact information, such as a name and email address. This information is used only to contact the person requesting information about the services on our site, for which they have expressed interest. |
|
Subscriptions
Once the user has subscribed to our services, all personal information provided is used for the express purpose of monitoring their privacy. Subscribers are asked to fill out a subscription form which includes contact information (such as: name, e-mail address, phone number, and/or mailing address) and financial information for collecting fees for services (such as: a credit card number and its expiration date, or billing information and instructions). This information is used for opening a subscriber's account, initiating services, charging any per-service fees, and billing purposes only.
After the subscriber has been assigned a Personal Privacy Web page and temporary password, the subscriber is directed to a private Web site and chooses which Personal Privacy services will be part of the subscription package. According to the choices made, the subscriber is then asked to provide the personal, financial, and health-related information needed by Privacy Protection to fulfill requested services. This information is used only for purposes to which the subscriber gives explicit consent. |

"Cookies"
A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Identity Cops® Inc. usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site, but for the security and convenience of our subscribers, "dissolvable" cookies are used.
Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie from our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the concerns of our users to enhance the experience of our site and the services we offer.
Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). We aim to partner only with entities with strong privacy policies of their own. However, we have no direct access or control over another company’s use of cookies. Use caution when exiting the Identity Cops, Inc. as you would any web site. |
|
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are never linked to personally identifiable information, or to track user movement once they have left the Identity Cops, Inc. site. |
|
Sharing
We will never share our subscriber’s information with any person or entity, except when performing privacy protection services, and then only at the subscriber's behest. Identity Cops, Inc. is not afforded any special dispensation by law with regard to providing information for legitimate legal requests, and must comply with the law as any other business would. |

Identity Cops® Inc. will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our subscriber’s information. When subscribers submit sensitive information via the website, this information is protected both on-line and off-line. Our site requires browsers with 128-bit encryption.
When our subscription services area on a subscriber's Personal Privacy Web page asks users to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number and/or Social Security Number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, as when you are just "surfing."
We use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information on-line, and also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our user’s information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a privacy specialist or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, and any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can and must do to ensure our customer’s information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked cage in a highly secure location - always in our control (we use no "co-location" services).
If you have any questions about the security at our website or our services please contact us at: cs@idcops.com. |
|
Supplementation of Information
In order for this Web site to properly fulfill its obligation to our subscribers, it is necessary for us to supplement the information that subscribers provide us with information from third party sources, such as opt-out list databases, credit bureaus, government agencies, court records, and other potential venues that involve public disclosure and/or privacy invasion.
For example, to determine if a subscriber has been victim to identity theft, we may use their name and Social Security Number to request certain information from a third party source (such as those mentioned above). Upon the conclusion of such an investigation, this information and all other related information, documents, and records are destroyed. |
|
Special Offers and "Opting Out"
We send all new subscribers a welcome e-mail to verify the password and username. Subscribers will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our clients we present the option to not receive these types of communications by allowing them “opt-out.” You may opt-out of these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions within each email or by writing our customer service department at cs@idcops.com. E-mailings that will inform subscribers of a possible privacy invasion or are directly related to their account are not subject to the "opt-out" feature. |
|
Site and Service Updates
We also send subscribers site and service announcement updates. Subscribers are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service and their account. These service announcements and account-related correspondences are made, unless otherwise requested, via email. |
|
Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If a subscriber's personally identifiable information changes, or if a subscriber wants to cancel services, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update, or remove the user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support at: cs@idcops.com.
The information provided to Identity Cops® Inc. by subscribers, either current or past, is and never will be shared with, or allowed to be collected by, any outside parties, except as required by law. |
|
Notification of Changes
Identity Cops® Inc. is founded on principles of, and a commitment to, the right to personal privacy. No change to our privacy policy is planned or expected. However, if we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page as well as notify our subscribers by e-mail. Current subscribers will have a personal choice as to whether or not we use their information in as different manner according to any changes in the privacy policy. |
|
Limitation of Warranty
Defending privacy is the mission of Identity Cops, Inc. and all its officers and employees. Identity Cops® Inc. shall make every effort to execute the policies stated above. However, we cannot, and do not, offer any warranty, express or implied, and specifically disclaim any such warranty. The service is offered "as is" and "where is" and any liability for accidental or malicious abuse of our data is specifically disclaimed. Additionally, Identity Cops® Inc. is not afforded any special dispensation by law with regard to providing information for legitimate legal requests, and must comply with the law as any other business would. |
